What is it?

Birth Alarm consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is attached to an antiroll girth which is placed around the horse’s withers. The mare experiences no discomfort whatsoever from the leather girth.

You set the receiver in the desired place, for example in the bedroom, and plug it in. A 12 volt adapter is available for isolated locations. Not always at home? Connecting the Birth Alarm telephone selector allows the receiver to call you at the number where you are available. The latest models of Birth Alarm are fitted with a control function for testing the battery in the sender and if the transmission signal is being received properly. This version is recognisable by the green label on the back of the sender and the receiver. The transmitter has a range of 1km, with the aid of a mobile telephone dialler.

Innovation : Birth Alarm GSM

With the help of GSM technology, the alarm signal can now be received on your GSM.

Birth Alarm GSM consists of a transmitter. Before using the Birth Alarm GSM, you need a prepaid SIM card, which you can program with your own mobile telephone. We recommend that you purchase a prepaid card from the same provider as your mobile telephone. It can be a prepaid card with the lowest credit balance, since the communication costs are very low.

Once the prepaid SIM card has been programmed and is inserted in the transmitter, the transmitter is attached to an antiroll belt encircling the withers of the horse. The mare experiences absolutely no discomfort due to the leather belt. The transmitter is waterproof, and the system can be therefore be used for outdoor births too. The use of GSM technology means that the range is unlimited, and you are also informed of your own position.
